Let the 1st train be A, 2nd train be B.

Let the distance between Hyderabad and Chennai be D.

They meet after 7 am after T hours.

Given that train leaves Hyderabad at 6.am and reaches Chennai at 2 p.m.

So, the train A covers D in 8 hours. Train B covers D in 8 hours.

So, Speed of the train A = D/8.

So, Speed of the train B = D/8.

The train A leaves 1 hour before train B.

Distance covered by A in (T + 1) hours + Distance covered by B in T hours = D

= > D/8(T + 1) + D/8 * T = D

= > (T + 1)/8 + T/8 = 1

= > 2T = 7

= > T = 7/2 hours

= > T = (7/2) * 60

= > T = 210 minutes

Therefore, The trains meet at 10.30AM.

Hope this helps!
