Answer:

Given ∠a = 65°

          ∠a = ∠o = 65°   { corresponding angles are equal ]

let       ∠ECO = x°

           x + 20° = 65°  [SUM OF TWO INTERIOR ANGLES IS EQUAL TO EXTERIOR ANGLE]

                   x   = 65° -20

                   x   = 45°

                  ∠ECO = 45°

Answer:

Angle ECO = 45

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, AB II CD

Angle BAE = 65

Angle OEC = 20

Angle ECO = ?

therefore, for angle ECO :

since, Angle BAE = Angle DOE (because coresspoding angles are equal)

Therefore, Angle DOE = 65

now, we know that,

     Angle DOE + Angle EOC = 180 (linear angles sum upto 180)

              65      +  Angle EOC = 180

                             Angle EOC = 180 - 65

                            Angle EOC = 115

Now for Angle ECO,

Since,

Angle EOC + Angle OEC + Angle ECO = 180 (Sum of all angles of Triangle

                                                                             sum upto 180)

115 + 20 + Angle ECO = 180

135 + Angle ECO = 180

        Angle ECO = 180 - 135

       Angle ECO = 45

Hence, Angle ECO = 45
