Ans2 - The patriot was so honoured because he did good deeds for the citizens of that place where he was being honoured . and as he did that no one can do do for the citizens.

Ans 3 - when The patriot was being honoured by the people , the house roofs were so full of people that roofs seemed to sway.

Ans4... The patriot was so hero for them that they could even bring sun for him or what ever he wanted to have.
