1) moment= r × f = 40cm × 150g = 6000N
2) 20cm × 250gf = 5000N
3) 6000N - 5000N = 1000N
4) if a 100 gf is added onto 250 gf .the distance from the O to balance the metre rule should be 20cm - 17.1425cm = 2.8571cm ....because 250 + 100 = 350gf ....we require 6000N to balance... so 350gf × x cm =6000
x cm = 6000÷350= 17.1428cm
