area of rhombus =1/2*d1*d2

d1=45

d2=30

so, area of each tile=1/2*45*30

=45*15

675cm^2

now,area of 3000 tiles

3000*675

2025000cm^2

now, convert cm into m.

1cm=1/100m

so,2025000/100

=20250m^2

cost=20250*2.50

rs.50625 is the answer

ANSWER

Step By Step Explanation

Here we are given that >

Number of rhombus shaped tiles are 3000.

length of diagonals of Each Rhombus tile are->

Diagonal,d_{1} = 45cm

Diagonal,d_{2} = 30cm

Now we know that >

Area if Rhombus is given by >

Area =  \dfrac{1}{2}\times d_{1}\times d_{2}

So the area will be >>

Area =  \dfrac{1}{2}\times 45 \times 30

 \implies Area = \dfrac{1}{2} \times 45 \times 30

 \implies Area = \times 45 \times 15

 \implies Area = 675cm^{2}

So the area of one rhombus tile is 675cm².

Hence the area of 3000 rhombus tiles will be  3000\times 675cm^{2}= 20,25,000cm^{2}

Hence the area of the whole floor is 20,25,000 cm² or 202.5m².

Now we know →

Cost of polishing 1m² floor is Rs 2.5

So, cost of polishing 202.5m² floor will be Rs{202.5 \times 2.5} =>Re 506.25.

So the total cost of polishing the 202.5m² floor with a rate of Rs 2.5 per m² is Rs 506.25

Remember

-> Area of rhombus=  \dfrac{1}{2}\times d_{1}\times d_{2}

- >1m² = 1000cm²
