for finding the area you have to divide it into parts and then find the area of each part and add themarea of

∆ABN=1/2×8×5=20cm²
∆CDP=1/2×4×(AD-AP)=1/2×4×6=12cm²
∆EQD=1/2×6×4=12cm²
∆AFM=1/2×4×5=10cm²

now trapezium NQBC=1/2×(5+4)×6=27 cm²
trapezium FEMQ=1/2×(5+6)×10=55cm²

now add all to get the total area
ans =136cm²
