They have just said to put / in place of - and vice versa and put 4 in place of 8 and vice versa

in option c) we have, 
4/8 - 2 = 6
now applying BODMAS rule and interchanging the given signs and numbers we get 

6 = 6 i.e LHS = RHS 
Hence option c) id correct
