Please explain what do you mean by force in Physics ?
Answers
→Force is physical push or pull on an object, which can result in the change of shape, size, direction or motion of an object.
→S.I. unit of force is Newton.
→ Newton's second law of motion gives the famous formula for determining force, that is :- F = ma, where, F is force, m is mass and a is acceleration.
→ Newton's third law of motion also tells us something more about force. That is, when we apply force on an object, the object applies equal force on us.
→ Force is generally of two types, contact and non-contact force, which is subdivided into many types. Some of them are :-
⇒ Gravitational Force :- Force applied by earth (gravity)
⇒ Electrostatic force :- Force applied by charges
⇒ Muscular force :- Force applied by muscles.
⇒ Frictional force :- Force applied by friction.
⇒ Air resistance force :- Force applied sue to the resistance of air.
⇒ Tension force :- Force applied by a string. (It is always a pulling force. It doesn't push any object)
Answer:
In physics, a force is an interaction that causes an affected object to be pushed or pulled in a certain direction.
Explanation:
There are basically four types of natural forces:
1. Gravitational force.
2. Electromagnetic force.
3. Strong nuclear force.
4. Weak nuclear force.
