equilateral triangle, isosceles triangle

singh81: please explain
Avantika2003: right angled triangle
Akhilrajp: sorry forgot right angled triangle also involved
singh81: please give me triangle definition
Akhilrajp: if two sides of triangle are equal they are called isosceles triangle. if three sides of triangle are equal they are called equilateral triangle. if the two sides of triangle shows 90 degree it is said to be right angled triangle
singh81: Thanks
Akhilrajp: only thank you. can you suggest me as brainliest answer

Here is ur answer :

Introduction :

TRIANGLE

A plane figure closed by 3 intersecting lines is called a triangle. Here "tri" means " Three" . A triangle has three sides, three vertices and three angles.

The sum of all the internal angles of a triangle is 180.

Area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

Perimeter of triangle is equal to the sum of its three sides.

There are SIX types of triangle :

1. SCALENE TRIANGLE

A triangle having all sides of different length and have different angles.

Let the sides of triangle be a, b, c

We can find the area of Scalene triangle with the help of heron ' s formula .

Formula is
 \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

S is semi Perimeter here

S = a + b + c / 2

2. EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE

An equilateral triangle has all sides equal and all angles equal.

Let the side of equilateral triangle be a.

Area of equilateral triangle =
 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {a}^{2}

3. ISOSCELES TRIANGLE

An isosceles triangle has two equal sides and 2 equal.

Let the length of equal sides be b and length of third side is a

Area of isosceles triangle =

 \frac{a \sqrt{ {4b}^{2} -  {a}^{2}  } }{4}

4. RIGHT ANGLED TRIANGLE

A right angle triangle has one right angle

Right angle is equal to 90°.

5. ACUTE TRIANGLE

An acute triangle has three acute angles.

Acute angles means angle less than 90°.

6. OBTUSE TRIANGLE

An obtuse angle has one obtuse angle.

Obtuse angle means angle more than 90°.
