The colour of Litmus solution in acidic solution is red and the colour of Litmus solution in basic solution is blue.
in neutral solution like water there is no change of colour in the Litmus solution.

pure litmus solution is a purple coloured indicator...

in neutral solution's there won't be any colour change where the litmus solution/ paper of purple / red /blue is used...

in Acidic Solutions... litmus turns red...
. While in basic solutions it turns blue.
