here,

base of triangle = 1.6 m

height of triangle = 1.6 m

radius of semicircle = 1.6/2 = 0.8 m

ar(figure)= ar(triangle) + ar(semicircle)

  = \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height \:  + \frac{1}{2}  \pi \times  {r}^{2}

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 1.6 \times 1.6 +  \frac{1}{2} \pi \times 1.6 \times 1.6

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 1.6 \times 1.6(1 + \pi)

 = 0.8 \times 1.6(1 + \pi)

 = 1.28(1 + \pi)

 = 1.28  \times 4.14

 = 5.23 \:  {m}^{2}
