From the right :
R1 =5+15=20ohm
1/R2=1/20+1/20
=1/R2=2/20
=R2=10ohm
R3=10+6=16ohm
R4=16*48/16+48
=768/64
=12ohm
From the left:
R5=10+8=18ohm
R6=9*18/9+18
=162/27
=6 ohm
Now R7=6ohm+14ohm=20ohm
R8=20*12/20+12
=240/32ohm
=7.5ohm
This is the required answer
