2ohm and 4ohm resistance are in series, so effective resistance between them will be R1 + R2 = 2+4ohm = 6ohm and the effective resistance and the other 6ohm resistance is in parallel, so now the effective resistance will be 1/R1 +1/R2 = 1/6 + 1/6 = 2/6 = 1/3 》》 Total resistance = 3ohm


And from R = V/I
3ohm = 12V/I
I = 12/3= 4Ampere
