given,length of chord=6cm. radius=5cm. if we draw a line perpendicular from centre to the chord then the length of chord will become half I.e.3cm. now,by Pythagoras theorem. h^2=P^2+B^2. 5^2-3^2=b2. 25-9=b2. 16=b2 /b=4cm distance from centre to chord is 4cm
