Hey there!

Before answering your exact question, Let's know what is adjective and What are degrees of comparision

Adjective [ Subject modifier ]

A adjective is a word which adds more details about the noun or pronoun, And you can say it modifies the subject by giving specific details to it.

In English, We have Three degrees of Comparison

They are

1) Positive degree ( If the sentence is negative, You can call it negative degree too )

2) Comparative degree

3) Superlative degree.

In these degrees , We compare objects using adjectives only . But what differs is how you compare .

Positive degree

A adjective which has a positive and simple one.

Example : Aarav is a good boy.

Here, We tell that Aarav is good boy, But we don't compare any other with him. Even if we do, We don't specify.

Other example : Aarav is one of the good boys in the class. No other boy is as good as aarav.

Comparative degree :

An adjective of comparative degree is used to compare two things.

Example : Aarav is better than Vikram.

Superlative degree :

Here, We compare one thing and compare with many other things.

Example : Aarav is the best boy in the class.

Now, Coming to our real question :)

We are given three words, Old, Little, Happy.

We get comparative degree by add-ing er or ier , Superlative degree by adding est or iest

Now, Comparative degree of the above words

1) Older

2) Less

3) Happier

Superlative degree of the above words

1) Oldest

2) Least

3) Happiest.

Hope helped!
