Associative property of multiplication as a×(b×c)=(a×b)×c


13+(3+7)=(13+3)+7
Associative property of addition as
a+(b+c)=(a+b)+c


1×9=9
Identity property of multiplication as
1×a=a×1=1


23+3+109=4+23+109
commutative property of addition as
a+b=b+a


87×3=3×87
commutative property of multiplication as
a×b=b×a


0+16=16
Identity property of addition as
0+a=a+0=a

So, let us first know about the properties...

 \bf \: (i) \: Identity \: Property \: of \: Addition \\
Sum of any number with zero is equal to the original number.

 \bf \: (ii) \: Identity \: Property \: of \: \\ \bf \: Multiplication

Multiplication of any number with 1 is equal to the original number.

 \bf \: (iii) \: Commutative \: Property \\ \bf \: of \: Addition
The property derives a + b = b + a
i.e. the numbers just remain the same and move around.

 \bf \: (iv) \: Commutative \: Property \\ \bf \: of \: Multiplication
This property derives similar to the previous one but in product i.e. ab = ba

 \bf \: (v) \: Associative \: Property \: \\ \bf \: of \: Multiplication
You can multiply the given numbers regardless to where you are putting parentheses according to this property.

 \bf \: (vi) \: Associative \: Property \: of \: \\ \bf \: Addition

You can add the given numbers regardless to where you are putting parentheses according to this property.

Now, we can identify :)

1. 15 × (7 × 9) = (15 × 7) × 9
Associative Property of multiplication.

2. 23 + 4 + 109 = 4 + 23 + 109
Commutative Property of addition.

3. 13 + (3 + 7) =(13 + 3) + 7

4. 87 × 3 = 3 × 87
