Outer Radius = 16 /2
R = 8 cm
Inner Radius = Outer Radius - Thickness of metal
r = 8 - 2 = 6 cm
Height = 100 m = 10000 cm
Volume = pi R^2 h - pi r^2 h
= pi h ( R^2 - r^2)
= 22 × 10000 / 7 ( 64 - 36)
= 220000 × 28 / 7
= 220000 × 4 cm^3
= 880000 cm^3
Total iron used = 880000 cm^3
