Please help me solve this one :

$\left \{ {{-6x + 2y = 72 } \atop {-4x + 4y = 64}} \right.$

by solving the eqn we get x= -10 ,y=6

-6x + 2y = 72 -------------(1)
-4x + 4y = 64 ---------------(2)
multiply by 2 in equation (1) & subtract from (2) we get
-8x = 80
x = -10
put value of x in equation (1) we get
2y = 12
y = 6
