To find, 

The value of x and y.

Solution,

Add the equation (i) and (ii)

We get, 

$2x - y + x + y = 1 + 0 .$

→ $3x = 1$

→ $x = \frac{1}{3}$

Now, Substitute the x value in equation (ii) to get y value.

$x+y= 0$

→ $\frac{1}{3} +y =0$

→$y = \frac{-1}{3}$

Therefore these are the values of x & y
