Yes, of course the poem has changed our attitude.
Actually everybody deserves some respect. We must respect everyone and do not insult them in any means. Though they are poor, but they too are humans like us.
Persons working in agriculture , construction as labours, do not work by their own wish in such harsh conditions but its for their meagre means and necessity.
A person treated irrespectfully , feels bad and about us and about his life also.
