Hey !!!

Here is ur solution :-

Barium chloride + sodium sulphate--------> Barium sulphate + sodium chloride

let weight of barium chloride = x gm

Then , x + 14 .2g ======> 23.3g + 11.7 g

As law of conservation of mass states that mass of reactant ie equal to mass of product

so , x = 35 g - 14.2 g

x = 20.8gm Ans

hence, weight of Barium chloride = 20.8
