yes its true that participation is more important than winning,  winning and loosing are part of participations , so many people doesnot participate in any event just becoz they think that they will not win,  they hesitate to Patricipate in it,  they overthink that what others will think,  day by day this fear increases and they always understimate themselves and their hidden talent dies within them and they  start comparing themselves with others,  it like they dont hav guts to face the real world , its better to give a try then to give up on the things,  participation helps us to realise what we are. Instead of thinking about winning, if we just participate then there are 90% chances that we can win as actions are better than making plans,  participation can help to overcome the fear that we hav created inside us,  and it also pep up our confidence level,  and even its true that things seems harder before we do it by ourselves so we should just give a try instead of thinking about others
