(1) Perimeter of square = 4×side
= 48 cm
As perimeter = 4×side so,
side = perimeter/4
= 48/4
= 12 cm

(2) Perimeter of equilateral triangle = 63 = 3×side or sum of all sides
As perimeter is 3×side so,
side = perimeter/3
= 63/3
= 21 cm

Perimeter of square =48 (given)
P=4a
48=4a
48/4=a
12=a
Hence each side of square is 12

B)let each side of triangle be a
Perimeter of triangle is 63 (Given)
P=3a
63=3a
63/3=a
21=a
Hence each side if equilateral triangle is 21
