for example there is a rectangle ABCD . in this if take two angles which are opposite to each other and add the angles of both we would get 180°

i.e., ∠A+∠C= 90°+90°= 180°

now let us take the question.

here it is given ,

two angles 2x°, and 70°, which are opposite to eachother.

as per the rule of quadrilaterals,

2x° + 70° = 180 (opposite angles makes 180°)

⇒ 2x° = 180° - 70°

⇒ 2x° = 110°

⇒ x° =110°÷2

⇒ x° = 55°

∴2x° = 2×55 = 110°
