Step-by-step explanation:

we know that,

(a-b)^2=(a+b)^2-4ab

Given,m+n=7 &mn=12

(m-n)^2=7^2-4(12)

=49-48

(m-n)^2=1

(m-n)=1

(p+q)^2+(p-q)^2 =2(p^2+q^2)

Given,p+q=14 ,p-q=6

2(p^2+q^2)=(14)^2+(6)^2

2(p^2+q^2)=196+36

2(p^2+q^2)=232

(p^2+q^2)=116

c+d=11,c-d=1

c^2+d^2=(c+d)^2+(c-d)^2

=11^2+1^2

=121+1

c^2+d^2= 122

4cd=(c+d)^2-(c-d)^2

=11^2-1^2

=121-1

4cd= 120

4cd[c^2+d^2]=(120)(122)

4cd[c^2+d^2]=14640
