If -1 is polynomial of x^2+8x+k then
x^2+8x+k = -1.....(i)
{x+(-1)=0
x=1}
Put the value x=1 in equation (i)
this implies, 1^2+8×1+k= -1
1+8+k= -1
9+k= -1
k= -1-9
k= -10
so the value of k is -10
If -1 is polynomial of x^2+8x+k then
