Given the outer dimensions
l=5cm
b=4cm
&,h=7cm

and the Inner dimensions l'=3 cm
b'=2cm
&,h'=5cm

Because the block is 1 cm thick.
so we should abstract 2 cm.(because 1 cm is subtracted from both sides)

So the volume will be=(5×4×7)-(3×2×5)cubic cm
=(140-30) cubic cm
=110 cubic cm
