Given: h=16t²+24t+1
To find: t when h is 6
∴ 16t²+24t+1=6
   ⇒16t²+24t-5=0
   ⇒t=0.185s or t=-1.685s
   ⇒t=0.185s                                    (∵ time can't be negative)

Given

H=6m
H=16t²+24t+1

6=16t²+24t+1

16t²+24t-5=0

Using
x = \frac{ - b + - \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}

a=16, b=24,c=-5

t = \frac{ - 24 + - \sqrt{ {24}^{2} - (4 \times 16 \times ( - 5) )} }{2 \times 16}

t = - 24 (- +) ( \sqrt{896} ) \div 32
Taking +ve 29.933

T=(-24+29.933)/32

T=0.1854 seconds

This is ur ans hope it will help you in case of any doubt comment below
