f(x) = -9x^4-5x^3+3x^2+4x+7

Using Descartes' rule of signs

There is one sign change so f(x) has one positive real root

f(-x) = -9(-x)^4 - 5 (-x)^3 + 3(-x)^2 + 4(-x) + 7

f(-x) = -9x^4+5x^3+3x^2-4x+7

There are two sign changes so there are 0 or 2 negative real roots

From (1) & (2) , there is only 1 or 2 real roots.

so ur option is A
