the area of trapezium=1/2*sum of the parallel lines *distance between them

24.5=1/2*(10+4)*h

=49/14=h

thus,the radius of the quadrant=49/14 cm

thus,area of the quadrant=1/4*area of the circle

=1/4*2*22/7*49/14

= 11*7/14

=11/2 cm²

=5.5 cm²

thus ,area of shaded portion =24.5-5.5 cm²

=19 cm²(answer)
