Pythagoras theorem was introduced by the mathematician named "Pythagoras"

It is only used in right angled triangle

Pythagoras Theorem states that the square of hypotenuse(longest side) is directly equal to the sum of squares of the (two small sides) base and height.

Now, Example

In This,

a is the height and b is the base and c is hypotenuse,

Then,

sum of the squares of the two small sides = square of hypotenuse

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

i hope this will help you
