A brief paragraph on public gardens/historical places

  • A historic park called Public Gardens, sometimes referred to as Bagh-e-Aam, is situated in the centre of Hyderabad, India. It is Hyderabad's oldest park and was constructed in 1846 by the Nizam of Hyderabad.
  • Public Gardens are also referred to as Bagham or Bagh-e-Aam (Bagheaam). Built in 1846, during the Nizam's reign, "Bagh" means Garden and "Aam" or "Aam Jana" means "the public" in Urdu. It began going by the name "Public Gardens" after 1980.
  • The Telangana Legislative Assembly, Jubilee Hall, AP State Archaeology Museum, Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium, Asif Tennis Club, Lalita Kala Thoranam, Jawahar Bal Bhavan, and Shahi Masjid are just a few of the notable sites in Hyderabad that can be seen inside Public Gardens.
  • Many well-known public buildings are located in public gardens. State Legislative Assembly, museums including the Andhra Pradesh Art Museum, the Health Museum, the Horticulture Department, Jubilee Hall, etc. are just a few of these.
  • Additionally, it features two auditoriums, the Jawahar Bal Bhavan and the Indira Gandhi Auditorium, as well as an old mosque with beautiful Shahi architecture and an open-air Telugu theatre called the Lalita Kala Thoranam. Along with these impressive structures, the park is home to beautiful greenery, inviting meadows, and winding walks. The enthrallingly large monument of Mahatma Gandhi is another draw at Public Garden.
