Solution :-

 \frac{2 + \sqrt{3} }{2 - \sqrt{3} } = a + b \sqrt{3} \\ \\

Take LHS

Now rationalize the denominator

 \frac{2 + \sqrt{3} }{2 - \sqrt{3} } \times \frac{2 + \sqrt{3} }{2 - \sqrt{3} } \\ \\

 \frac{(2 + \sqrt{3}) {}^{2} }{4 - 3} ={(2 + \sqrt{3} ) {}^{2} } \\ \\

Now Apply (a+b)² formula

Hence,

4 + 3 + 4 \sqrt{ 3 } = 7 + 4 \sqrt{3} \\ \\

Now compare this value with RHS

7 + 4 \sqrt{ 3 } = a + b \sqrt{3} \\ \\

Hence,

The value of a & b = 7 & 4 Answer
