Since the 5 rectangles are congruent,it means that their length and breadth are equal.L et their length be l and breadth be b.Then
According to the figure
4l+5b=165 ................(1)
also from the figure we can see that
3b=2l
or,b=2l/3
putting value of b in equation 1 we get
4l+5(2l/3)=165
or,l(4+10/3)=165
or,l(22/3)=165
or,l=165 ×3/22=22.5
so b=2l/3=15
so,perimeter of the smaller rectangles =2(l+b)=2(15+22.5)=75 Answer
