i) If the mass of one object is doubled then, the force will also become double.

ii) If the distance is doubled, then the force will will become one fourth.

ii) If both the masses are doubled then the force will become 4 times.

All these could be explained with the gravitational pull i.e G(Mm) / r^2 where M and m are 2 masses and r is the distance between them.

Heya........!!!

In this question we are talking about Gravitational Force .
We know that Gravitational Force between 2 particles of mass m1 and m2 is F = Gm1m2/R^2

((below F' is new force and F is original force ))

♦ i ) mass of one object is doubled then =>
G ×2m1×m2/R^2
F' = 2 times original force

♦ ii) Distance is doubled means => Gm1×m2/(2R)^2
=>F' = 1/4 F times the original force

♦ iii ) when mass of both is doubled => G2m1×2m2/R^2
=>>> F' = 4 F new force is 4 times original force .
