according to conservation of momentum

m1v1 = m2v2

16 x 4 = 4 x v2

v2 = 16

thus the velocity of other mass is 16m/s

the kinetic energy of other mass

is 1/2 mass x velocity²

= 1/2 x 4 x (16)²

= 2 x 256

= 512 j

so the kinetic energy os other mass is 512j
