FIrst, draw a plan with w and y axis.

Then, draw the function y = sqrt(x) (take some points (0,0), (1,1) , (4,2) (9,3) and try to connect them by a curve for exemple, or do it by some plotting-supported calculators)

Now draw the line y = x (the 45 degree line which passes by 0, or just make a line passing by (0,0) (1,1) (2,2) (3,3) ..)

Locate your 9.37 on the x axis like someone showed in the two previous answers : divide in 100 or 10 parts and tick the 37th or 4th (respectively). Call it A (9,37 , 0)

Draw a line vertically (or perpendicular to the x axis) from this point A (9.37 , 0) so that it cuts your curve y = sqrt(x) (here we have the value of sqrt(9.37) as the y coordinate of intersect, call it B (9,37 , sqrt(9.37)))

Draw the horizontal line (or perpendicular to the y axis) passing by B and cut the y=x line in C, C is (sqrt(9.37) , sqrt(9.37))

Now draw the last line : vertical line passing by C and cut x axis at D, D is sqrt(9.37)

Hope that it helps you
