1.he would tackle a meal right at any hour of the day.
2.about fifteen thousand jewels worth of pounds were there safe in the grange
3.if he expected atleast five thousand he sold one by one to get them
4.his landlord disliked him and tried to eject him .



i think these answers may be correct ....

For the first one - it is not right it is night* so the answer is " He would tackle a meal at any hour of the day or night
