Thanks for the A2A.
You asked me for the best book - Then I would say NCERT . Trust me NCERT books are extremely important. You never know from which page or paragraph or line they may frame a question .
You should read NCERT line-by-line thoroughly .
For MAT , R.S. Agarwal’s Reasoning books are good. You should practice it as many times as possible to improve your speed. Focus both - your (speed+accuracy) and the variety of questions you practice. MAT is an easy part . So check that you score high in it and don’t lose any marks due to silly mistakes.
For SAT prepare Social Studies and Biology very well . Read NCERT of classes 6–10 .
These subjects are the real time savers in the exam . You read the questions , if you know the answer you simply tick the correct one and if you don’t then simply pass it . No thinking required. And scoring here is easy and will boost your total score. Remaining time may be given to the rest of the paper.
Language Test - Only score qualifying marks . That’s enough. Not much hard work required .
You may buy sample test papers. Do take mock tests regularly and don’t forget to do the paper analysis after that.
Good comprehensive books for NTSE available are Arihant , S.Chand , Tata McGrawHill , Upkar , Bright .
