Solution :-

We have :-

There is a Right angled isosceles triangle

With one of the side ( excluding hypotenuse)

= 42 cm

So as we have the definition of isosceles triangle which says :- A triangle having two adjacebt sides equal.

Now we have got two sides ( by using definition)

:- 42 cm and 42cm

Now by applying Pythagorean theorem :-

→ H² = P² + B²

→ H² = 42² + 42²

→ H² = 2 × 42²

→ H = √( 42² × 2)

→ H = 42√2
