Answer No. 6

Draw Triangle ABC

AC=20 cm (Hypotenuse)
BC= 15 cm ( Base)

To find (AB)²(Perpendicular)

Using Pythagoras Theorem

(Hy)²= (Per.)²+ (Base)²
(AC)²= (AB)²+ (BC)²
(20)²= (AB)²+ (15)²
400= (AB)²+225
(AB)²= 400-225=175 cm

Answer No. 7 = Sum of Supplementary Angles are 180°

The Angles Are in the ratio of 4:5

4x and 5x

Sum of Supplementary angles=180°

4x+5x= 180°
9x= 180°
x= 180°/9=20°

4x = 20× 4=80°
5x = 5× 20 = 100°
