There is only 1 way of selecting 8-n number of identical balls.
There are 8Cn ways of selecting n balls from 8 different balls. (combinations)
combinations with 0 of different balls selected = 8C0
combinations with 1 of different balls = 8C1
combinations with 2 of different balls (& 6 identical balls) = 8C2

Total = 8C0 + 8C1 + 8C2 + 8C3 + 8C4 + 8C5 + 8C6 + 8C7 + 8C8
