Travelling is a way for some people to spend their free time. Workers travel to new places during the days off work. Students travel during their holidays. There are also some people who try to get money from travelling. They write books about their travels and sell the books. They made money from the sales of books. Books about travels sell as well as books on other serious subjects.
Travelling gives us knowledge. If we reach a new place, we have a chance to get new friends. We can visit interesting places. We can see new sighs. We can find different customs and culture. We can see festival new to us. We can buy interesting things from that place. Although we have to spend some money on travelling, we get a lot of knowledge from travelling. Some writers travel to get knowledge. They write books on their travels. People who cannot travel read their books. So they get knowledge. They do not need to spend much money. They get knowledge from a book which does not cost much.
Travelling is a source of pleasure. If we always live only in a place, we feel bored. So we want to visit other places for a change. We are happy when we have a chance to travel. We want to visit new places. Travelling drives away the boredom we get from hard work. It reduces our stress. It makes us feel fresh. It prepares us to start work again. So travelling is an activity of recreation.
