Answer:

Given:

5 vectors have been provided in the form of 2 triangles.

To find:

  • Relationship between vectors

Concept:

First assign names to the triangle , It will be helpful in identify of vectors. Let the Left triangle be X and Right triangle be Y.

Calculation:

1st question:

Let's consider Triangle Y :

Vectors A , B , E are all directed cyclically , so we can say that :

 \boxed{ \bold{ \huge{ \vec A +  \vec B =  - ( \vec E)}}}

2nd question:

Now consider Triangle X , we can see that :

 \bold{ \huge{ \vec A +  \vec C =   \vec D}}

 \boxed{ \bold{ \huge{ \vec D -  \vec C =  \vec A}}}

3rd question :

In this, we need to consider both the triangles.

And we need to use the equations derived in earlier answers :

 \bold{ \huge{ \vec E +  (\vec D -  \vec C)}}

 \bold{ \huge{  = \vec E +  (\vec A)}}

 \bold{ \huge{  =  - (\vec A +  \vec B) +  (\vec A)}}

 \boxed{ \bold{ \huge{  =  -   \vec  B}}}

From the above figure, the following interferences are ovious.

\tt{ \purple{\implies{ \vec{A} \:  +  \vec{B} \:  =  \vec{E}}}}.........(A1)

\tt{ \orange{\implies{ \vec{A} \:  +  \vec{C} \:  =  \vec{D}}}}

\tt{\implies{ \purple{ \vec{D} \:  -\vec{C} \:  =  \vec{A}}}}..........(A2)

\tt{ \red{ \implies {\vec{E} \:  +(  \vec{D} \:  -\vec{C}\:)  =  \vec{E} + \vec{A} = - \vec{B}.........(A3)}}}
