Answer:

10

Step-by-step explanation:

a = (√3 - √2)/(√3 + √2)

b = (√3 + √2)/(√3 - √2)

to find: a²+ b²

solution: a² = (√3 - √2)/(√3 + √2)  = (√3 - √2)²/ (3-2)  = (√3 - √2)² = 3 - 2√6 + 2 = 5 - 2√6

b²= (√3 + √2)/(√3 - √2)  =  (√3 + √2)²/ (3-2) = 3 + 2√6 + 2 =  5 + 2√6

a² + b² = 5 - 2√6 + 5 + 2√6 = 10
