At first, we see that the object undergoes a deceleration of 1m/ s^{2} for first 8 secs;  then it moves at a constant velocity,i.e., 4m/s in the opposite direction for 4 secs and again undergoes an acceleration of 1m/ s^{2} for 4 secs; Now, the object stays at rest for 4 secs; undergoes acceleration of 1m/ s^{2} for 4 secs and moves on with velocity 4m/s...........
