1) Auxins :- It moves to the darker side of the plant, causing the cells there to grow larger than corresponding cells on the lighter side of the plant and promote stem elongation, inhibit growth of lateral buds.

2) Gibberlins :- It stimulates cell elongation and cause plants to grow taller. 

3) Cytokinin :- It promotes cell division, or cytokinesis, in plant roots and shoots. 

4) Ethylene :- It acts at trace levels throughout the life of the plant by stimulating or regulating the ripening of fruit, the opening of flowers, and the abscission of leaves.
