let side of cube is 100 cm
surface aera = 6*100^2
when each edge is increased by 25 % then
S. A = 6 * (125)^2
so increase in area = 6 [125^2 - 100^2) = 6*225*25 cm^2
% increase = 6*225* 25 *100/6*100^2
= 225*25/100
=56.25% ANSWER
