Your answer is PQ = 1

Here , circle's radius (r ) = 5 cm

so, OD = 5 cm

CD = 8 cm so, QD = 4 cm

then apply Pythagorus Theorem for

triangle OQD

( DO)2 = (DQ)2 + (OQ)2 put values

5 = 4 + ?

OQ = 3

here, AB = 6 so, PB = 3

and OB also radius so,, OB = 5

then take triangle OPB and apply the Pythagorus Theorem

(OB)2 = (OP)2 + ( PB)2 put values

5 = ? + 3

OP = 4

In this question we have asked to find PQ & PQ = OP - OQ

so....,, = 4 - 3

PQ = 1
