 \frac{4x - 7}{4}  =  \frac{5x + 2}{3}  \\ 3(4x - 7) = 4(5x + 2) \\ 12x - 21 = 20x + 8 \\ 12x - 20x = 21 + 8 \\  - 8x  = 29 \\ x =  \frac{ - 29}{8}
